Wedding Bookings |
Somewhat mixed emotions today, firstly many thanks to Rachel & Martin for booking us for their wedding at Warbrook House on the 9th November 2012. Enjoy the planning stage guys.
Secondly, we are so sorry we had to turn down Emily & Al as we already have a wedding booked on the day the wanted us.
We met both couples at the "Itsadoddle Wedding Show" at the Spinnaker Tower only a couple of days ago. Signs that the bookings are coming in for next year. |

Spinnaker Tower Wedding Show |
Last night we had a fantastic time at Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower, where the wedding show, organised by the "Itsadoddle Wedding Directory" team was held. The doors were open from 1930 through to 2200hrs and Wendy and I did not stop talking to potential customers throughout that time.
We had some very positive feedback from both suppliers and couples, with reserved dates being made there & then and enquiries for as far afield as Buckinghamshire.
We are now in the process of revamping all our advertising material ready for a massive push, including more hardcopy magazine articles.
Times are getting rather exciting for us. |

Brides Magazine |
Exciting news to share with all of our friends. We were approached a couple of days ago by the Production Team from "Brides Magazine" who want to do a feature on us for their winter 2012 issue.
Just one photographer from each county is to be chosen for a cover cd directory of wedding suppliers and we are the Hampshire business selected for our category. Wow. |

Why Use a Professional Photographer? |
With just five weeks to go we have taken a booking for photographing a church wedding, which includes the bride at home, everyting at the church and then the reception venue up to the first dance.
The happy couple had 'employed' the services of a family friend who has now pulled out at the last moment, leaving them with no photographer.
This is why you should look for a reputable professional photographer with Institute memberships and full insurance cover. Speak with them long before the day; view their past wedding photography and be happy with them as people. Sign a contract.
We will not always be avialable to pick up the pieces. |

Jenna & Dath's Wedding |
Just two weeks to photographing Jenna & Dath's wedding at the Botley Park Hotel. The four of us had a look round the venue this morning and found some beautiful locations for the pictures.
They are having the 'full works' so it's going to be another long day for Wendy and myself, but they are a great couple and the day will be magical. |

"BC DigiPhot - Dry Weather Weddings"; if only we could market that name. Wall to wall sunshine yesterday at Bianca & Lee's wedding at the Queens Hotel in Southsea. Great fun with the boys, the girls looked amazing and the family & friends a joy.
Now the post production work starts for the photos to be ready on their return from honeymoon. Another fortune lost to the coffee producers. xxx |

| It's been a good day today; Photoshop CS6 upgrade arrived - let the learning begin - and I purchased the new Nikon 50mm f/1.4 lens - ideal addition for photographing church weddings. |

Wedding Show at Botley |
We have just taken on a new wedding show location at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel at Botley, near Southampton. We have already photographed a charity ball there and on the 2nd June we are photographing Jenna & Daths wedding. It's becoming a popular venue for us.
